Amanda is from Long Island, New York and moved to sunny Florida at age 7. She knew from a young age she wanted to be in the medical field. When she graduated high school, she started working in a chiropractic office working the front desk, and that’s when she knew this was the right career path for her. For over 14 years, she has been working in a chiropractic office. From starting at the front desk, to managing an office, she has done it all. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration while working to pay her way through school. She then went on to get her Certified Chiropractic Physician Assistant license. Since then, she has taken several seminars and academics to further her education to be able to help serve the population in SWFL. She holds certifications in Nutrition, Restorative Wellness, Health Coaching, Doula & Birth Education, Lactation Consulting, and is currently working on her Pediatric Nutrition Specialist certification.

Amanda has always had a passion for pregnancy and childbirth. When she was young, she would always find tv shows, and documentaries to watch about women during pregnancy, labor and delivery. This was something she dreamed of being a part of someday. It wasn’t until she was in labor with her second child, that she found out how Chiropractic can help with moms during childbirth. After Dr. John Edwards, who is a long time friend of hers, came to her house during her stalled labor and applied his techniques for her to have a successful homebirth, that is when she knew she needed to work here at Mama’s Chiropractic to be involved with the birth community.

In her free time, she enjoys time with her two kids, her fiance, boating, fishing, exercising, food prepping, baking, helping her community, and organizing. She also loves to watch webinars, and researching to keep up to date with her education.
